Training Programme For The Newly Unemployed

Our training programme for the newly unemployed includes three parts resulting in a range of qualifications that will provide you with what you need to return to work in no time.

Warehouse Workers

Part 1

LEVEL 1
EMPLOYABILITY COURSE

All newly unemployed cohorts will undertake this course which covers:

  • Self-Assessment

  • Understand Employee's Rights & Responsibilities

  • Career Progression

  • CV & Job Applications

Part 2

EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK COURSE

This course is designed for people who want to receive training in emergency first aid.

 

The course covers first aid protocols for adult casualties only.

Part 3

LEVEL 2
OPTION CHOICE

Finally all learners will choose one from the following three options:

  • Team Leading Certificate  

  • Customer Service Certificate

  • Hospitality Catering and Food Hygiene

HOW CAN I ACCESS THE COURSES?

The courses are delivered over 4 weeks. 

We have a limited number of laptops and remote WIFI available for loan if required.

AM I ELIGIBLE?

To be eligible for these courses you must be:
 

  • 19+ years old

  • have a right to live in the UK

  • claiming either of the following

    • Job Seekers Allowance (JSA)

    • Universal Credit (UC)

    • Income Support (IS)

    • Education Support Allowance (ESA)

    • Work Related Activity Group (WRAG)
